Optima yellow top d35 v century 55 ah AGM

I am trying to decide on a small battery for 8" piranha tray to run 40L engel in aux area on 90 prado petrol

Can get the d35 optima for $295 or the century 55ah agm for $270 pretty sure the optima would be the better option

If anyone has any other solutions I would be appreciative / brands or alternatives...

Ps. Only a wk ender as have two 120 ah agm s in the camper trailer for camping/longer stays

Gday i,d get whichever has the highest amp hour rating with shortest recharge time, i currently have a supercharge battery dual purpose it has 110ah enough amps to crank motor with bout 90min recharge time unlike my previous deep cycle which had a 5 hour recharge.

Optima without a doubt

Hey alovaoz,

I would put the optima in for sure, shorter charge time etc. I have the optima for many reasons, shorter charge time, longer life, less prone to distruction from vibrations, much faster re charge etc. Although i didnt go the yellow top i went the blue top D34(or simular model) It is exactly the same as yellow top except has an extra set of terminals which is great for accessories :-) hopee this helps Troy
