From my understanding the guy who owned TigerZ11, couldn't make a profit selling via his shops, so then set up an donline store, whihc has just recently been bought out by EMG (the people who own 4WD action mags etc). I am not sure how the other companies who the magazine used to push are feeling right now that EMG are pushing their own products and forgetting about those who they have shafted!!!
But hey, if the winch gets you out of trouble and works, then just like anything, treat it right, and it will look after you!!

I have the Grande model with the winch backwards function which is VERY handy when you see how hard it is to free spool the rope out. With mine you need to strong blokes to pull the rope of the spool, there is a video on youtube showing what I mean.
Other than that I couldn't argue with the price, still haven't used it anger only stuffed around with it.Comment

I have the Tegerz11 winch, there was no mention of mine being a grande but it can winch both ways. I paid $845 for mine a year or 2 ago, cant really go wrong with that price. So far no issues with mine and it has been used a few times now. If I was planning on a trip with deep water crossings (like the cape) I would look at options for improving the seals but otherwise I would recommend one.Originally posted by amts View Post

Matt, the only thing required to fit up the tigerz to a ARB deluxe winch bar was the offset hawse, and a rotation of the gearbox...
