Matt, the only thing required to fit up the tigerz to a ARB deluxe winch bar was the offset hawse, and a rotation of the gearbox... These look to be shipping with the standard hawse so you will still need to source the correct offset variety.

Jase is on the money regards fitting it up. take the opportunity whilst you rotate the gearbox to check inside to see all is OK. I also found that the bolts supplied were a bit on the short side, no big deal, just a trip to the bolt shop for the correct ones. Almost worth buying another one at that price for the new 4b!

Last week they had the same deal but the grande 12,000 winch for $819 plus postage. A mate ordered it and is waiting should be at his by Wednesday. He is fitting it to a navara with a Nissan bar I'll post a report when he has used it. Won't take long on a Nissan will be well used.

If I didn't already have a winch, I'd buy it. Good deal, good winch for recovery and a free jack.
Yep can't go wrong, unless u go out winching, but I'd say majority of Prado owners want for backup not to use all day.
I have the supercheap auto one, motor is same as Tigerz 12000pd rope etc, they go on special regularly as cheap as $489
Better customer service than a 4x4 shop or online.
I like the look if Aldi winch, $349 with remote also
But cable, these cheapys many come from same big supplier on china same place as some better known brands (not warn).

Generally Tigerz have a good name out of the cheapyz

I fitted mine straight to my ARB bar withoput an offset Hawse, No issues with it. Didnt even need to rotate the gearbox.

Today we headed up to towards Moore river, after trying to climb out off the beach I had to winch about 10 metres to get myself out. Then had to winch a mates Patrol about 15m, the winch (Grande) was awesome with no issues.

I still recommend going the model that you can winch out with!

I live 10 min if that from the Tigerz head office in Lilydale so I am heading down there tomorrow for a look and talk with the boys down there and get the low down on both the units! I want to know are the insides the same for both or are they different etc. Will give you some feedback once I have been down there and if anyone has any questions let me know

Not really..... I purchased offset hawse online $39 to the door.
Then sold the new one i didnt use on eBay $45 cash.
Might need to buy lOnger bolts $5 at supercheap.

The hardest part is deciding where/how u want to mount the solenoid.

Just left the Tigerz warehouse in Lilydale. The $523 sold out this morning! They are out if some of the stock as they didnt think it would sell as fast as it did!! I ended up getting the 12000 pound winch for $390 with rope!! Also bought an awning for $165 for a 2.0 x 2.5 bloody awesome with the netting ( which they don't have in stock yet ). Apparently there is a big back order for almost everything and the ces ALL go up at the end of this month unless you per order before the end of the month. The phone while I was there was literally running off the hook ( 03 9738 7318 ) is there number
