I've had the CDQ5000 on the Prado for a few months now, installed on the LHS standard antenna mount on the ARB Sahara bar.
Performance is very good and it stands up at any speed I've driven at. (ie within +/- 20% of the speed limit)
What is not so good is the placement on the edge of the vehicle. It picks up every bush and tree overhanging the tracks and roads, and it is only a matter of time before it gets smashed, so I've been looking around for a mount option on the Sahara hoop.
RFI sells a 'wrap' mount affair for 76mm bars, but unfortunately it carries the mount behind the bar - there is not enough clearance and it would obstruct the bonnet when opening.
RFI also sells a hoseclamp mount for tubular bars, but not with large enough hoseclamps for a 76mm bar. In the end, I searched ebay and found an Axis BB2H SS mount and bought some 70-90mm SS Jubilee clamps also from ebay.

Top of antenna is now higher than the unladen pack rack, which may cause some consternation if we ever drive into a low carpark.![](https://www.pradopoint.com.au/core/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Yes, rig needs a clean...
