Prado Bull Bars

Hello
We have anew Prado and are looking at suitable Bull Bars. We are leaning towards the TJM Type 13 Outback. What have others found to be the best one?
We think the Toyota brand one is too lightweight but have also heard that the heavier ones drag the car down.

Kate and Ron. Is your Prado a 90, 120 or 150 series? If you look under the appropriate area you will find a bullbar thread with lots and lots of info. How about introducing yourselves and letting us know where you are (also put your location in your profile so it is shown when you post) and what Prado you have and what you want to do with it?

As for bullbars it's horses for courses. You can go all the way from basic brush protection to full on animal protection. Also a steel bar may be an issue if you have a dual battery and winch but don't plan a suspension upgrade.

And then there is aesthetics, what some like the look of others don't. Your call on that.

thanks for the comments. Ours is a 150 so will look where you suggest. have upgraded the profile, we live in the Adelaide Hills. Like your quote!
