How does the 4wd/AWD system work on the prado ??

        If you don't have traction control then it should be a LSD, having said that the LSD if useless and really may as well be an open diff for all the good it does.

          My GX missed out on the LSD. It's got traction control.

            I usually wait till I reach 80km/h before locking the centre and rear diff. The rev limiter gets a lot of attention too. For some reason the parents picking up children from school give me looks though ??

                  now that the topic is nice and warm..lol

                  still lol... once i compose my self... i have said on many occosasions i stick it too my V6..
                  so guess if ya dont drive your awd prado like a A.W.D. in my eyes ,,, your not getting your moneys worth out of the car...

                  I do drive my prado to its limits, but i have built this rig so i know where we meet in the middle...
                  i too would like some more theory on the prado awd / 4wd system... as i know how it handles

                  they are maintained , and a pleasure to drive!.... evan sideways
