Red Dog Offroad Dogleg awning

Just found the following awning am hoping someone might have experience with the company if they are okay or not.

Red Dog Off-road Dogleg awning for $400 plus $40.00 delivery is still half the price of the Rinho rack version.
I do not mind buying good gear. But I do not like getting my self ripped off either.

Looks like the same awning I got from Tigerz11, sold as the sugar glider, for $385.46 inc p&p. The poles soon lost the square black handles - no biggie. The awning survived a dust storm in the desert. It appears to have the slightly larger bag which would make it easier to fold away. I think it looks a good deal. Tigerz don't sell them at the moment. I think they sold out.

I spoke to Glen about these around 3 weeks ago, the unit only opens up by 260 degrees but said you can just move it forward slightly to cover that little bit of a gap. He had them going out for $350 butyou will need to check.

Am wondering if it might be to long for the three door as it is 2500mm long stowed. So it is a fair sized awning.

It might be as it's almost longer than the car itself, the SWMBO is interested in these as well.

Ye it turns out the roof bar is 1400 long. So would only be limited to about 1800 long.
I am looking for a roof rack that I can mount straight to the roof and remove the rails to keep it lower. Looked at the tigerz short one and asked them but they told me it will not fit.

Tigerz11 do a 2M x 2.5M awning, the 2M is the vehicle side. Not sure if you will get one shorter than that SOL.

I have seen a 1.8m one. But can not remember what sight it was on. To many places! LOL. No rush.

We have the 2 x 2.5.
If you go any narrower than that, its not going to be very effective for anything. 2m would not stop rain entering the car doors so 1.8 would be a bit pointless unless its across the rear door.
I think 2m is the minimum effective side width.
