  • 25% Off Ridge Ryder branded 4X4 accessories at Supercheap

Just saw an ad on the telly for Supercheap's Australia Day weekend sale, they mentioned 25% off Ridge Ryder branded 4x4 accessories. That doesn't include Maxtrax or Treds but might be handy if you need a snatch strap, high-lift jack, awning, winch or some D or Bow shackles just to mention a few ideas.

There were discounts on tools mentioned too, can't recall if it was 20% or 25% off though.

Thanks for the heads up, just picked up one of the rydge ryder spare wheel storage bags for $30. Should do the job alright for the price!

      Cheers Matt.

No probs! The little folding shovel for $15 isn't bad either, handle and blade both fold in and it all fits in a little pouch. I already have one that I paid full price for. The only concern is the handle is plastic (albeit ABS type plastic), given it's only a short handled shovel I figure it will do small jobs OK.

Are you just going to cover the reversing camera Matt or do you have something else in mind? Been considering the same thing but the camera is handy when doing a 3 point turn or reversing into a wash away.

          Cheers

          Josh

Yeah I thought about that Josh, but I will just cover over the camera. Not really an issue for me as I will only put it on when we are camping or playing in the mud and there is a chance of getting the recovery gear dirty!

            Cheers Matt

I'd like to here any reports on the roof rack bag as well, although I'm not sure I will be able to fit one on mine - with a spare wheel going up there already.

I got one too, but seem to have problems fitting it to a 2004 120 GLX Prado. Has anyone else experienced the same?
The strap seems to cover where the spare wheel attaches. Also needed to remove the spare tyre to fix it?

I have a MSA one but similar idea. Now for me to fit it nicely I need to loosen the spare wheel to be able to feed the strap down behind it. Now it might be an inconveniance but it does ensure it is hard for someone to try and steal it and just how often do you need to take it off once it is on. More than happy to meet up to give you a guiding hand to fit it up.

I've got to loosen the spare wheel to fit my MSA version as well, doesn't take much time. I haven't had it long, but just use it when we are going out to play or for a trip.

If it is a problem you may want to look at aamts tyre spacer. I am thinking of getting one to fix this problem.

                            Cheers Matt
