thats an old test from years ago, it was found to be a cash for comments article, it is infact still in court.
The test was done by Lightfarse, for the magazine, so take the results with a grain of salt.
97 VX Grande, with front & rear air lockers, ARB Sahara winch bar with tigers 11 winch, 2" EFS lift, 265/75/16 Achilles Desert hawk XMT, and more.

      Bugger that.

On a good note, the pics of the light bars and the light they throw out is pretty good. I think I like those light bars...

Ahh bugger x2. Sorry about that. Still, from my experience with friends cars that run LED bars, LF, IPF's etc the pics look pretty close to reality

I have a Hansa Chinese 21.5'' double row combination spot/spread 8000 lumen and 120 watt bar........A mate who i did some welding for imported 10 of them and gave me one for the work i did on his boat........He managed to get them to Darwin for $140 ea landed..........Mine is not fitted yet but will be in the near future.....By all accounts the one he has fitted for himself and a few others he on sold to mates are well worth the $140 price he got them for......
A very similar looking product sells here locally for $700+....

Time will tell i guess on the quality but they do look like a well made unit to me and at the price point are value for money.

^ While this may be true, you get what you pay for. ALWAYS

In most cases, the chinese parts you pay more for went through the manufacturer's quality standards and QC. While the knockoffs use cheaper materials and dont go through the same QC, which means that they may perform "nearly as well", but how long do they last?? They also dont have the details that the expensive ones. For example, a Rigid Industries knock off ive been seeing down here in Venezuela looks the same, light output seems about the same (when looking at it, as in how blinding it is) but the focus of the beam is not the same, they dont have the IP68 rating (no gore tex breather either) and no waterproof connector. Chances are, they wont last nearly as long..

This is the same case as the Safari snorkel knock offs from China. Exact same mold as the original ones, they are cheaper because they use cheaper plastics that wont last as long and crack and fade over time due to the elements...
