Urgently Need: Box Trailer in Sydney to use for 3-4 days next week (can pay in beer)

Hi Guys, hoping someone can help me out here. I urgently need to transport a fridge & dishwasher from Sydney to Mudgee next Friday. Given its a normal sized house fridge i really need a trailer with a cage/high sides/etc.

Is there anyone that would be willing to lend a trailer for a few days use next weekend. Happy to provide a carton of beer of your choice as payment.

If anyone can help please let me know!

I have been looking for a trailer like that on fleabay lately but they're not cheap and we need to sell our van before we could
afford a new one!

Sorry mate its just a 7 x 4 std trailer. Sides about 60cm high

Bugger, i dont think i can secure a fridge with such low sides, i would be worried it would tip. Let me see how desperate i get

I normally tie things like that down with heavy duty ratchet straps. It is a long way to go, though.

Mate lay it done on a blanket on its side with hinge upwards. Less chance of it falling over and also less wind drag.

Agree, lay the fridge down in the trailer for the drive and let it stand up for a few hours before turning on at the other end.

Mate you would be welcome to mine for absolutely no cost but it doesn't have a cage just a cross bar up front ?? but to be honest Im not sure I would tow it to Mudgee ?? I would really need to check out the tyres etc before I would let you use it. I will be down at my wifes nans place on the weekend and will check it out. We leave it down there all the time as I never use it but father in law does but only to the local tip and back. Leave it with me and I will check it out. I wouldn't let some one use it long distance if I felt it would be unsafe..Cheers Steve

Thx Steve, a mate has come through at the last minute with a cage trailer so at this stage I think im right. Appreciate the offer none the less.
