  • Show us your shed!

Okay, After seeing the shed photo's in the VIC tech day page (link below). I had a look and could not find any thing on sheds. So I thought I could start one so we can share tips on what is good and bad for your shed to keep you Prado going strong.

Okay so here is my shed. that I got built end of last year. Few details.
The shed is 9m X 9m with a 3m awning on the end.
It is still yet to be set up. That is my current project.

This is one I could have replied to, but there are too any jealous and envious already.
I'm certainly not in a shed comp, would like to mention mine is top quality "truebuilt" shed.
I know people who have built with tru built, before and after myself and are happy.
I know someone who took the cheaper option and somewhat regrets doing so.
inside i have put only the basics, and fitted with leftover materials and quick d.i.y everything cheap inside.
For those that are considering a shed, like anything, do your homework as there are companies that build "blow-a-ways".

My carport although very pretty isn't worth putting up a photo of but at least it keeps the weather off the Prado! At my previous house I had a 6 square meter pitched roof garage in brick and tile, gee I miss it! No room for it here sadly.

Mate from what I have seen you have a shed to be proud of. I understand about doing it right the first time. I got mine fully insulated. Went with a good company and am really happy with what they did. Shed are like most thing you do get what you pay for.
Sheds are like your car of choice everyone is different and they will not suit every body. But people have some really good ideas on set ups that make you stop and think that would be handy.

We i South Australia have frequented Matt's garage which has been aptly named M.A.T.E.S. Garage. Yes its stands for something I cannot remember. Anyway, Matt has been looking to acquire a country block so we decided to draw up some plans for a new MATES Garage (shed). See the attached early plans:
