There seems to be an abundance of healpful reminders out there .. of what not to do ... and always a handy camera person to record life's little moments for us

This is one I found on another forum ... and thought it deserved to be shared .... but it does highlight the "how not to ..." part of snatch recovery.

That reminds me of a call out I did with my RFS brigade.
A stollen F250 was lodged into the oposite side of a creek after a police chase, The towies tried for 1 1/2 hours to get it out while we sat in the fire truck loughing at them. They even had to call a 2nd tow truck after the 1st was pulled up onto its A-frame lifting the drive wheels of the ground.
Eventualy we decided we were all runing late for work and pulled the F250 out with the fire truck, 2nd tug on our 13T snatch strap. Left the towies very red faced.
