Lol bet the cops wouldn't have given a shit if she tried using that as an excuse for speeding if she got cought..... Haha! The missus was shopping one day came out with the kids, pushed the locking button on her keys (obviously didn't see the indicators light up, opened the boot put the groceries in, went to put the kids in and realized that there were no car seats...... Had a quick freak out then looked to the very next carpark and noticed her number plate... Haha exactly the same car same colour and obviously the owner never locked it. Very quickly unpacked everything into her car.

Another time the missus was driving her grans car, kept just turning the aircon off because it was getting to cold, I asked her why she relied "I wish this car had climate control" all I did was turn the aircon back on and slide the temperature adjuster, no words were said by me except a big grin, the missus reply was oh u fricken smart a$$. :-)

The wife and I where driving along one day when she says too me " Isnt it amazing how all roads take you somewhere?"
That was almost 15 years ago, and I still get value out of it.

She also admitted another time she thought it was good the RTA found perfect size gaps between sandstone hills to put a road. ( she was refering to the F3 where they blasted the rock for the road construction)

one day we are driving,
my mrs says, " where do they put the rest of their jet skis?"
"what jet skis?" I ask
she points to a car with a pair of slimline roof top pods and says "those jet skis, on the roof there".

Im still getting mileage out of it

A journey with my partner usually goes something like... She says ''oh have you seen that car'', middle of town, lots of cars, it generally progress's onto a step-by-step phase of telling me what it looks like for about 5 minutes after it's gone. Turns out it's red, has four wheels & looks like a 4x4.
Underground car park is the next area of fun, she can't make out the road markings, totally forgets it's a one way system, worries about hitting every pilar even though the gaps are huge and this is not forgetting she's lived in this town for over 20 years & this car park is a regular visit for her.

Usually these fun and games come with other goodies, best one has to be the gas pedal, she hardly touches it, occasionally stalls, blames the car, i tell her, put more gas on, so she makes the engine scream & rockets forward, this is my fault now, not the car. The circle completes with try more than you was doing, less than you just did. Now the car is stupid & I'm stupid for not seeing how stupid the car is.
Ahhh well, it's funny in my head the amount of times & ways these things happen.

Saw a lady driving a new black AWD Volvo in the Miranda Fair carpark a few days ago. She had no idea how to drive in to a parking spot, the angle was too narrow.

She backed out a bit and tried again. Just touched the car in the next spot, then I heard the scraping noise. She was up against the concrete pillar. She did not stop, just kept slowly driving into the spot. The noise was loud but she kept going. I guess she scraped both nearside doors and the rear panel as well. Would like to hear the excuse to the insurance company, and the husband.

This one was my sister.

We're on our way out of a car park and she goes to head out the entry point, I point out that the sign says no exit and she turn to me and says "its OK I'm entering the road".

She's a policewomen.

Obviously you are not my brother, I would have pointed out that the carpark wasnt a gazetted road....

My missus not long after we got the Prado points out another white 120 Prado GXL with a painted plastic wheel cover and says "thats the one my friend is getting the new model Prado". I said babe that one is the same as ours, she says "no its different look the back is different it has that wheel cover thingy, ours doesn't have one of them"... I gave up trying to explain a wheel cover, and it being the only real outside difference between ours and the one she saw.

Long before kids and marriage when we were dating she had a Lancer, she asked me to check if her power steering was working still because "it didn't turn very well anymore" anyway I pop the bonnet, her car didn't come with power steering, I checked her tyres , between all four they were on 8-11psi. She thought I'd done a big fix after getting back from pumping the tyres up.

had the same thing happen in the woolies carpark i had to reach through her window twice and steer the car away off the concrete pole she was stuck against . she said i much prefer my 121. i think her husband does too.
