Bra for water crossing

hi all,
this is my first time writing on prado point, im so glad there are so many other people who enjoy there prados.
i am just asking if anyone knows of a good bra to protect my prado from water getting into the motor on water crossings, any help would be great

Hi Dave,

I just use a small tarp with some bungies to keep it in place. Worked OK up the cape except the first time when I didn't fit the bungies right ant it came off 10m into the crossing. 8|

Obviously MLC is busy finding a picture of the perfect Bra for water crossings and will post soon.
But in the mean time Dave we purchased a MSA Brand water Bra for our 2010 Cape York trip.
Having the Toyota Bullbar fitted to our 120 Series made the Bra work very well. Secure fit and easily attached and removed.
Not a lot of other Cape York trippers were bothering with fitting water blinds, but thats no indication that one shouldn't be used.
Hope to get it wet again soon maybe Victorian High grounds.

Use a canvas tarp with the proper eyelets. It doubles as a lay down under your camping setup when placing tents or a floor under te awning etc. Its probly the most versitile piece of kit I pack.
