Nah, it'd be nothing like it, thats a straight forward thing,
The worms would be in the meat in the waeco. The Engle would still be cold........
Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.

I am sure many of us don't own a 4WD due to "safety reasons" or even contemplated two vehicle collsion results, but it's always nice to know from my experience, that if some twit does decide to hit you, you do stand a slightly better chance due to vehicle size and weight.
4WDers (with exception of Toorak Tractors) want to get out of the rat race when ever they can. Most of us look after the environment when we go out there and make the recreation for others more pleasant in doing so. Fixing tracks, removing fallen trees from trails etc.
The purchase of my newest 4WD - (listed at bottom) adds the extra safety features in Option Pack. This was mainly due to the fact that Traction Control and Stability Control was included in the option pack. A bonus was the side airbags.
My main reasons for purchase are: 1. Recreational purposes - get out of the rat race for sanity purposes and for enjoyment.
2. D4D engine - fantastic engine to say the least.
3. Ability to add mods to my hearts content (not my wallets) to make that get away even better.
4. Fuel consumption.
5. The knowledge that the Prado is one of the best 4WDs on the market.
Safety features such as crash test results are good to know, but were not a factor for me personally mainly due to me never causing an accident, although involved in a few that were caused from other drivers. I didn't even research Prado crash test results.
I, along with all the other sane people on earth, never want the oncoming vehicle to wander into our vehicle's path. The safety features MAY assist us to survive should this occur, although with some form of injury more than likely in any event.
I suppose the major reason for purchasing a Prado 08 GXL was PPers fantastic advice in all aspects and support given where necessary, especially where mods are to be undertaken and the willingness of other PPers to lend a hand. Makes for a great social event to say the least.
