someone who makes canvas?

Hi all,

I am building a custom box trailer/camping trailer which you can see in my rig buildup here

What I am thinking of doing is getting some canvas made which I can clip onto the outside on the sides between the lid and the sides of the trailer when its opened to stop rain blowing in. Does anyone know who would custom make something like this without charging an arm and a leg? I was thinking of mounting those metal clips onto the trailer and have the other side attached to the canvas so its easy to clip on and unclip it. The plan is to back it up to my 3x3m gazebo so that the gazebo with the solid wall kit can be used in conjuction with the trailer to make it waterproof etc as much as possible.

i haven't used them myself so cant really comment on it from a first hand perspective, but i have heard that ozki canvas at slacks creek apparently do some good stuff, not sure on price tho. Maybe jump on myswag and see if anyone has ideas?

yeah I have a feeling it will be too expensive to make it an option but would be really cool to have and a bit easier than throwing a tarp over the whole thing

im getting a canopy made up for my trailer, all i did was go through the phone book and explain what you want and get prices and go from there, mines getting made out of vinyl instead of canvas, easier to clean and a bit cheaper. cheers samo

I used Ozki to fix a dodgy camper trailer that popped the corner seams. Did the job quick and only charged me $50. I was quite happy with them.

dropped the trailer off 2day, the canopy is 7 foot long, 4 foot wide and 850mm high to the peak, with access hatch on 3 sides, with shock cord and lugs, $410, done in blue vinyl, done in 2 days, thanks for comming, where do i sign. cheers samo
