Should 4WD purchases be taxed at a higher rate?

and there will always be those to narrow minded even to consider any arguements that 4x4 drivers put forward.

Something I've always believed is that any vehicle is only as safe on the road as the NUT behind the wheel. It doesn't matter what you drive, if you drive like an inconsiderate prick and think you are the worlds best driver in a mini you'll drive with the same attitude in anything you drive.

Well I don't know about you guys but.

I own a 4WD to kill people. I found that little Huyundai's didn't get me the squashing power I needed so I bought a Prado. Now, at every chance, I try and ram other drivers off the road. Why should I share the road with other people just trying to get to work like me? Of course, I'm better than everyone else because I drive a 4WD. Having reached the peak of the evolutionary tree, I've earned the right to intimidate Mum and the kids on the road. Sometimes, I laugh when a scared grandma can't quite make it to the other side of the road as I approach. HAH! the whole reason I got a bull bar was because I was SICK of having to slow down at this old peoples home on my way to work. A few minutes with the hose fixes any marks.....

I hit families in shopping centre carparks. I enjoy watching as their hard earned shopping flies into the air along with the new stereo they just bought. Because I drive a 4WD I'm completely allowed to mow them down. How dare they get in the way of my 4WD! They deserve it!

I laugh like a maniac when I hit animals. The way I see it, animals are stupid. I drive a 4WD. Get over it! I grin with glee as I cover the road in blood and rid the world of another stupid animal. 5 minutes with the hose fixes any marks.......

I dominate the road! Why shouldn't I??? I drive a 4WD! I can't help it if some devolved nitwit wants to pass me! I laugh like a demon when I see the utter frustration in the face of other drivers on the road. Their inability to drive on the road is entirely my fault and it thrills me to know it! I can't drive worth a damn anyhow! They shouldn't feel safe around me. I am no more than a space for rent Oogada Boogada man that enjoys triumphing over other drivers. Suffer Fools!
