Tyre Deflators?

I got Stains first then bought the Ironman ezy deflator thinking I would use it if I was in a hurry but found it so easy and quick that the Stains haven't left the garage since.

Yep same here... except my Stauns are on the window sill of the office

The only comment I've heard about using ezy deflators is if you're removing the valve to lower pressures a lot, then you are running the risk of the rubber grommet at the base of the valve stem to not seat properly and lose air through the valve. I guess it's possible but maybe not highly likely.

I use a stick.

Have used quite a few different ones over the years. Any Eucalyptus variety is usually the most durable and will last a few trips if stashed in the ashtray after use. The only problem is, if your trusty favourite has disappeared and you find yourself on the beach they can be hard to find. Usually resulting in the airflow limiting ignition key being used.

There are many things I would rather spend money on that tyre deflators. 100 more Lapua cases are much more fun that tyre deflators!

Sticks are great if you have patience (with the prospect of letting tyres down to go have some fun, my patience gets rather short).

ARB Ezy Tyre deflator for me too...

I managed to get a valve stuck in mine on its 1st outing. Not sure if I managed to cross thread it but that's likely what happened. ARB replaced it for me though as they couldn't get it out either. Lesson from this is to make sure you thread the collar on straight, carry spare valves, or as others said use a stick instead.

I also have a set of Stauns, haven't used them since getting the ARB Ezy deflator, only way to go IMO!

I have a set of Stauns and a set of the cheap copies ($20). I have the Stauns set to 15 and the cheapies set to 25. Never had any problems with either and I tend to use the cheapies more often (only because of the pressure). I tried using an ARB Ezy Deflator when I went on a 4WD training course as the training centre had spares for people to try. I didn't like the fact you have to remove the valve potentially damaging the seal plus none of the people on the course were able to get on with them but that may just be a practice thing. Most people ended up using a key or borrowing Stauns.

Got a set of the Staun copies somewhere, but haven't bothered to look for them since I got an ARB Ezy deflator.
The only draw back I've found with the Ezy deflator has been the people that I've been 4WDing with wanting me to do their tyres properly (they were stick people).

I've got a set of ARB exydeflaters too. Love them. Tigerz threw in one of theirs on a deal I did a few months ago. They deem to work the same at a lower price.I don't know how they get around the copyright issues.

along with Tigerz as some have mentioned and mine which is Ironman.
Having used the e z deflator and the ironman, they work exactly the same.

Got ARB ezy deflator as well. Not sure about others, as this is the my first one.

I always carry a dedicated tyre guage as well as the Ezy deflators.
Always clean the valve stem off especially after a lot of mud driving etc.
