Just wondering I'm putting in a 12 pin flat plug for caravan, just want to make sure I get two things write. Pin 8 orange says for battery charger/ electric winch, pin 9 pink is for auxiliaries etc/ battery feed. I'm running a permanent wire from battery to plug to run fridge in van while on the move and is also for led lighting in van. I'm presuming I use pin 9 pink ?? I'm also presuming pin 8 is if you are running a wire from say a dual battery system for charging any batteries that may be in the van which there is. So again I'm going to put the duel charger under the bonnet and run the wire from the system to pin 8 orange ??? Also what is the maximum size wire I can run which will fit into the wire inlets for these two purposes ?? Cheers Steve [IMG][/IMG]

Steve a mate of mine looked at these plugs when I was wiring up his car. Doesn't look like you can run a heavy cable so we stuck with a 7 pin trailer plug and ran an Anderson plug as well for power. My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

Ah hah. Check out Narva's site. They usually have specs with the product.

6mm2 is a bit small over that distance. Can you make up a 7 pin to 12 pin adapter, run 6B&S to and Anderson plug then run 8B&S or whatever from the Anderson plug to the 12 pin adapter? That way you wire your car with heavy duty stuff and just compromise for one CT.Last edited by mjrandom; 13-08-2013, 10:04 PM.My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic
