Saw a spread in the Sunday paper about I. $10 adult entry. Looked to be a bit of a smaller , Tassie size, version of other shows.
      It's on Friday to Sunday.

Will talk to SWMBO and see what she reckons. I'll keep you posted.

This Weekend? Complete write off for me....

Saturday - Soccer, SWMBO - has me turning sausages for the school's election voting.
Sunday - Soccer wrap up and BBQ...

My understanding is that there is one coming down here as well...

Soccer finished for us, so weekends are now free. I reckon there would have to be something like it happening down your way soon

Looking at going some time over the three days but most likely Saturday and take the boys with me. SWMBO is working at a polling booth for the day so will fill in a few hours nicely.

It is advertised on the signs as a boating and camping show but on the TV it goes on to say it also bikes and 4WD so should be good. About time we have something like this in the state.

Might also a good place to get some contacts for potential sponsers for the 2015 Tasmania GTG?

Well the opportunity came up today to go to the show so took it. It is not a huge show but it does cover the floor fo the Silverdome and was not to bad at all.

ARB and Allgoods are the only ones selling camping/ 4WD gear. Quite a few caravans, both on and off road. There were boats but didn't really look at them as not my thing. Oh and there was fishing stuff as well.

All up I would say it was worth the $10 entry to get in.

I did make a purchase of a 150W inverter with a USB port for charging the new tablet.

We made it up this morning and agree it was a decent way to spend a couple of hours. The Kids (big and small) enjoyed having a look at the 4wd gear, boats and fishing stuff and Hels checked out some of the vans and roof top tents.
I think the jumping caste was the biggest hit with our little kids, though.
Was close to buying some more ARB gear, but refrained for now.

Glad you enjoyed the show. No jumping castle there on Friday.

Been out of action for 36 hours due to no internet. Not happy as I couldn't contact anyone.
