Anyone heading to the 2013 Brisbane Boat Show this weekend?

Was thinking of attending this weekend. I haven't really been interested in boats before so haven't attended.

But has anyone who has attended know if they offer any special trade show deals / discounted show specials on new boats?

Or do prices stay pretty similar to what you would get from a regular boat dealer.

Usually not a great price reduction but you do get some bargains. Was going to go but as it used to be "free" to get in and now is $16 + $12 parking will be giving it a miss.

Went today to have a look. If you are in the market for a new boat package there were plenty of boat dealers willing to do a deal.
The best deal was on Yamaha outboards as yamaha Australia were offering rebates to their dealers leading to a direct discount to the customer.
Same deal with quintrex Australia offering direct rebates. In saying that outside of manufacturer rebates discounts would be similar or close to what you could haggle normally.

Other than boats there were a few tackle dealers with overpriced gear marked down, heaps of people bought Rods n reels but I don't know why, wasn't that good a deal from what I could see.

It was good to see all the boats in one location saving you time going from dealer to dealer
