Apparently the addition of ABS to the 76 was welcomed by the mining companies, but quickly followed up with a thanks but no thanks, as in putting the ABS in they used up the space for the second battery. So a lot of companies have started looking at other options for their mining fleet cars.

Have Toyota lengthened the back axial yet? They put the independent front end in with the V8 with it's wider stance and left the back end as it was so the front track was something like 140mm wider than the back. On a soft track the vehicle crabs left or right as either left or right rear wheels follow the front track. Amazing that the Landcruiser company has made so many errors with this model and do they really not know why companies will not buy them? On the up side looks like they are good at demolition.Prado Polar White 150 GX 3.0 TD Auto.
