  • 'Toyota Lemon' Facebook Page.

Someone has got really serious about attracting Mr Toyota's attention and going all out in Brissy to get his vehicles replaced. New cars can have their problems but this guys vehicles really are beyond belief. Its never good seeing this stuff happening, I hope it turns out well for him.

Read for yourself, the article on the 120 someone posted gives good advise without being overly critical.

From what I've read it seems he has been taking the vehicles onto the beaches and keeping them in a poor condition..
And has also turned down toyotas offer of helping with his issues?

Always two sides to a story..

Not sure how you can say that? His car has 9205 km on the clock when it failed the rust test in primary structure.

I've seen that cruiser firsthand, and it sat in water for a looooong time, there is a clear water level mark inside the bell housing!
He has every right for a gripe, has stated in a stat dec that's it's never been on the beach.

He shot himself in the foot by parking out side dealerships with his lemon logos though. He shopped the ass outa the price and bought both cruisers from Maddils in gympie. When he had torque less than 2 kilometers away and Sci-fleet about 10. So ya can understand why they don't wanna touch him.

So why refuse Toyota's offer to repair? Fix it and flick it.

I think he wanted toyota to replace the vehicle a new one w/o having to outlay any $$..... Obviously Toyota has a different view on things

As said in that page, a fair proportion of the time it is the principal dealer who wants to save their cash/margins and not the views of the manufacturer/head office regarding issues.

i had some issues with Nissan with a purchase I made a few years ago, whinged at the dealer for a while before going to head office complaints, when then an agreement was met.

Someone posted it on his FB page, you should be able to see it down a few posts. It's a consumer mag clipping by the looks, not sure which mag it was from? Just mentions to be aware of the injector washer issue, the dash board cracks, and a few other well knowns, when purchasing a 120 series.
