Went out to NorthWest Off Road's open day today. It was a good turn-out. We had a good look at some of the rigs on display as well as the product displays, then it was into the showroom to check out our kids entries in the Lego 4x4 competition. I was very impressed with this, as every kid that entered got a bag of goodies, including Fourby and Aerial drink bottle and Cap along with a lego set plus the ARB balloons and stickers - a top give-away for a free competition.
Next was the adults treasure chest comp., where keys had been hidden around the area and the coordinates posted on their web ad facebook page for people to try to find. The winner of the $500 prize was very happy (although the guys who had found 6 of the 12 keys were dissapointed they didn't even get to try their keys).
First thing I had done when we went in was show SWMBO the fridges - and she decided we needed to get one, but it had to be the size she wanted, so I ended-up spending up all my Xmas funds.
No super specials for me, but I ended up very happy, and her call was "About bloody time"
