my eleven year old daughter is looking to Shave her head in the Leukaemia foundations "Shave for a cure" and will need sponsors any support will be greatly appreciated. Currently she has beautiful long blonde hair but is willing to loose the lot for this cause. Not that she knows anyone currently effected but she knows that it doesn't play favourites and can effect anyone, just like many other things.
What made her decide to do this was one of her friends being diagnosed with a brain tumour and how hard that was on her friend and family.
Anyone interested in helping her out, please let me know and when we get details from the foundation I'll let you know how you can help.

The foundation should be able to supply your daughter with an official letter that you can then fax/email to people to show its all legit

(Have seen them do this before)..

Hutch I'd love to go to the Mt Mee run, but weekends for me are pretty busy work wise. I'll have to see what I/we have on. I don't want to palm off any of my cleans as I'm angeling for the realestate office that I do a lot of my work for to sponsor her too. If she's willing to shave her pretty blonde locks, I want it to be worth it.

I can't make it to Mt Mee, but Ross is going to see if he can swing his roster and take the brats.

As for sponsoring there are a few ways to do it.
One of the simplest ways would be for you to go to

There is a big box that says DONATE and gives you the option to Sponsor a participant or just donate to the cause.
Step 1
Click Sponsor a participant
Step 2
search individual name "Brianna Rixon" Qld, hit enter and her name comes up at Sippy Downs.
Click sponsor
The next page then asks for your details. Enter them and hit submit. All done.

Way 2 come for a run up to the Sunny coast and meet up for a beer between now and D Day, give her the cash and she will give you a recipt.

Way 3 send her up a cheque made out to the Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland and she will send you back your recipt.
