          Hey Grandeman,

Shocks has been sitting with Darren for last 3 months as I haven't had
a time to get them fitted

Hopefully will be fitted next week with a winch coming later on

                Hey Stan,

Sounds good - let us know how you go. I'm thinking about winch options at the moment...

I've decided to get one of these, saves me wiring in an in-cab switch. I can land one from the US for half the price ARB want. http://www.warn.com/truck/accessorie..._control.shtml

Originally I was going to put Warn 9.5XP winch, however the bullbar needs to be taken off in order to fit it...

I had a chat to a few Patrol guys who use Ironman winch almost every second weekend for the last 4 years without issues...

So at this stage I am learning heavilly towards Ironman winch with wireless remote + alloy fairlead and synthetic rope for about $1100.

Why does the bar have to come off? You fit it from underneath.

I don't know, but ARB told me the same thing as well - that the bar has to come off. :?

Its a lot less fiddly with the bar off but it most certainly can be fitted with the bar on the car.

I am leaning to the same thing though. The ironman winch has had some rave reviews from a lot a people and the no nonsense replacement warranty is just unreal.
