  • ARB Sport Camp Chair

    G'day All,

Does anyone have one of these chairs? I sat in one at my ARB dealer the other day and was surprised how comfortable i actually was. I have probably wasted $300 over the past 2 years on chairs I haven't been happy with; the last one being the Oztent Goanna which i was very disappointed with - most likely not the chairs fault, it could have something to do with my height being 5 ft 6 and my short little legs. Most of the time my feet can't sit flat on the ground and the front part is too high which gets very annoying on the legs.

Would be great to hear some reviews before i go and splash more cash at a chair!

We have two of these and find them very comfortable and also a good height for sitting at our table for meals. The only problem we have with them is that in their packed state they occupy a lot more room in the car than previous chairs have.

Don't have the ARB but I do have the Primus version from Bunnings, great chair.

Yep, got one of these that came as a bonus when I bought a fridge. Very comfortable chair, although sometimes I find it a little hard to unfold/fold up as the plastic guides sometime grab. A quick squirt of silicone spray seems to free it up though.. As Hartley stated, they do use up a little bit of real estate.

I almost got one of these free when I bought an ARB fridge. But I said forget about it and asked for the fridge cheaper!

Got a pair of the ARB Sport seats, have been quite happy with them.
Solidly built and comfy, drink holder and side pocket is good.
On the negative side a little bit tricky to set up and pack down, the bag is a bit light duty also.
              Cheers

I have two. Very comfortable and easy to fold once you clear your mind of the more traditional folding methods. Sturdy too.

If I have a gripe, which I don't, they pack down slightly bigger than any other quality chair, but still my preference.

Remember to pack the bag in the back for added lumber comfort when in use!

I apologise for not finishing the sentence. The missing words were 1 inch from the gound

                            I'm short also

I got these chairs recently after trying ever chair at every shop.

                            http://www.blackwolf.com.au/product/...77/category/29

                            3 reasons;

                            1) the cross bar is further back from the front edge of the chair so they do not dig into your legs/behind knees
                            2) take up very little space when folded up
                            3) on sale they were still sub $100 each
