If money is no object, I'd be looking at an ARB bar with their LED Intensity lights.

I am still awaiting for all the bullbar's from ARB to come out. It is up to the buyers taste and long term plan, from what I have heard and read they all do the same thing. That said, if you ask a certain person and that person is dedicated to a certain brand he will always tell you to go for what he knows best. They all have their strengths and weaknesses.

As for the bullbar, I am still tossing up between ARB and TJM. I will be getting 2 x Click image for larger version

I was a dedicated ARB buyer, have been for my last two fourby's, the latest being a fully decked landcruiser 80. However, looking at the design of the new bullbars and side steps I will be getting the TJM gear. The price was a little better but the sales person was a lot more approachable and friendly, could answer all my questions straight away and gave me his honest opinion, sometimes at the cost of his sale (the ARB compressor is a lot better, buy it not ours). That is just my opinion though, and any answer you get will be a little fact with a lot of opinion thrown in. Enjoy the playdoh

I just checked the ARB website and it is still the same. I called them about 4-5 weeks ago and they've informed me that sometime mid year the bullbar for the VX/ Kakadu will be released to accommodate for the tear drop shape lights. I am also waiting on the ARB Sahara bar. I don't want to hide my lights because I probably will want to change it to the VX/ Kakadu lights in future if I decide to go that way.

ID:	647813 looks alright but I haven't seen a full photo of it without the water. I don't want to purchase a bar now and change it because I made a mistake. I am not after protection, I want my Prado to look like an angry Rottweiler and at the moment it is still a pup.

TJM Mongolia costs less than ARB. but ARB overall better quality IMO. service in Mongolia awful, so we don't pay attention to service. the trick is to know what you want and material that goes into the product. TJM steelbumpers are chromed out while ARB more blacked out and over time dents don't stand out as much as chromed out bumpers would...

I tend to shop around and buy what I think is best regardless of brand so I have a mix of ARB, TJM and other stuff on all (three!) 4wds. I would have said that TJM trailed ARB for quality some years ago but now I think it is much of a muchness though possibly TJM are slightly ahead with the TJM gear I have bought. On the 150 I have a T3 colour coded bar which I selected over the Sahara bar because the Sahara has less clearance. Safari snorkel over the Airtec because it looks better to me (performance is the same so a non issue). TJM sidesteps because ARB hadn't released theirs but I would probably go ARB because the steps are a little better finished. The Rodeo has a mix of ARB and TJM while the Patrol ute has mostly ARB and other stuff like Dobinsons and EFS. Pick what you want to use and don't worry whether one is better than the other because I think most are fit for purpose and you can argue either way. I draw the line at Tigerz stuff though based on my exposure to that but some people have had good experience. Choose carefully but don't second guess yourself if something else is released a week or two later.
