Update: Tested it in the Prado and with 2 different laptops. The mouse (trackpads) don't work on both using Inverter power. I also tested the USB Power and that doesn't work at all. I have sent them an Ebay message. I'd steer clear of this product (It's also gone up to $61).

The device itself doesn't need that much, its just the inverter that was bought. I have looked at a couple of 1000w units that are more efficient at the cost of weight. We worked out, at maximum draw we are currently hitting the battery for 20amps. This gives us one hour of run time from the 40ah lithium battery.

Update 3:
Replacement arrived today, USB Port still doesn't work and now the fan doesn't work in this model. It does charge my laptop now though UNTIl you plug a USB cable in it. Go figure. Final Update:
I got the fan working on the replacement inverter (a cable was pushing against the back of it) and the AC power is fine so it's essentially works ok.
The USB port still doesn't work but who cares, I have plenty of USB Chargers. I'll pull it apart 1 day and have a look.
They have said keep the first inverter as well. Not worth anything to them.
I'd steer clear though in the future. Goodkit had an inverter that wasn't much more. http://www.goodkit.com.au/electronic...-wave-inverter
