Are you all serious? It may have limited value if you need to split a few hundred logs in the middle of nowhere. Other than that it it glorified scrap value. A block splitter is
1. safer,
2. lighter,
3. takes up less room,
4. is usable in 2 seconds compared to 10 minutes to set this monstrosity up, and
5. Takes a shite load less time to pack up.
and don't try some stupid argument about sore backs or war wounds. If your not capable of swinging a block splitter you won't be getting that on and off any time soon.[B][COLOR=blue]Bitumen: A blatant waste of taxpayers money![/COLOR][/B]

Hmmm 150 - 250 rpm, PTO at 540 rpm, slasher box around 3:1. Looking good...
$650 plus second hand gearbox, bit of steel, high temp glue...
