Air Con Vent directional Clips

Hey all
I've got a Prado 150.
All my 'little finger grip clips on the air vent direction slides' in the front have broken.
I've read earlier posts about Toyota not having any and you have to buy the whole vent. (Typical Toyota)
Anyway has anyone found a solution to fix these or replace these of lately.

Hi, mine the same on side vents, buy the whole vent on a junk yard, remove the clip from this vents because they had some scrathes and install on my vents, its really easy. Both cuoted like 600.00 at dealer vs 80 both at yard.

I have the same issue of broken vent clips (3 are broken). The Toyota dealership just serviced my car and I asked for a price to replace the 3 clips. I knew it would not be cheap (for a part made for 10 cents), maybe $40 each I thought. They quoted me $1047. I nearly fell over with laughter. The Toyota dealership staff remained professionally straight faced! Surely I thought they would have seen how funny the quote was. $1047 for 3 plastic clips

Where's MacGyver when you need him! All he ever needed was a paperclip and a rubber band.

Seriously though; This (lack of) clips/tabs is really annoying. It looks bad, is fiddly and I'm sure when it comes time to sell, I'm going to get screwed on the price because of them.

I just checked eBay, I thought something must be something to come out of China, but couldn't find anything.
