My problem will be time

From landing until start of travel will be about 2 weeks, including visiting friends in the Hunter so won't have a lot of fit out time.

If I start with a "mum's taxi" I would need to add everything.

Hopefully I can start with bar, lights, snorkel, and possibly dual battery & UHF.

I can customize from there.

I am monitoring this site, Gumtree, etc and have seen a few good rigs come through, but I won't contact sellers until we are almost on the plane.

The second car has the suspension, the snorkel, the UHF / CB, etc. so would be a good starting point.

If anyone has the perfect fit to my ideal vehicle and is looking to change in 6 months PM me.

The budget is quick flexible.

My concern isn't the $'s out on day 1, but the net cost between buying and selling.

I expect to pay between $15,000 and $30,000 and could go more for the right vehicle.

The problem is that the higher the price the harder it will be for me to sell at the end.

I know the dealers won't give me anything for accessories.

Cameron has a nicely kitted out 90 series that is a little too high kms for sale for only $10k. It is almost worth that for the accessories.

I saw that one advertised and was going to link it to this thread esp if you plan on selling it right after the trip? I reckon the km's are average for it's age. Going by petrol engine longevity threads a well looked after one can go on for many many more km's. Food for thought....Cameron's appears to have be very well maintained.
