They don't quote any relevant testing standards. That worries me as much as pulling something from the nudge bar on the John Deere. Certified to something then maybe ok.

Don't underestimate the strength of rope. Been used for lashing and lifting loads for thousands of years. Simple, strong, effective. Just shows that what is old is new again, albeit in plasma form.

Have made quite a few of these from 10mm and 12mm Dyneema/Spectra for both sailing and 4wd purposes. Easy to do. Lots of Youtube videos show you how. They are very strong, light and easy to stow. Haven't broken one yet but you do need to be careful of cuts/abrasion. You might get some shorter lengths of rope from a sail riggers to try out.
