We were at the in laws down near Capel for 4 days fishing. Good times were had.

I went to see an old pub. The Settlers Arms Inn at St ALbans. Weather wasn't the best, therefore I lacked in motivation to take pictures. Word is this pub is haunted.

Yes we did. 19 the first day, 23 the second and 10 the third 😀
No salmon though, just herring.

Headed north with the AJ's to Parachilna - Bilman - Waukaringa area.



Can't say much for the hotel other than it was cheap and airy....

Yes. At Parachilna Gorge we saw Heath 74 and his family. Nice bloke but don't let him know that!

We were supposed to meet him and the Prairie Hotel but we crossed paths (he stalked us) so we shared a decent camping spot with them, AJ and some random in a tent, still plenty of room for 10+ vehicles but just us. The Waukaringa ruins were shared with 2 other vehicles but didn't get in our face other than to wreck AJ's photo opportunity.

AS MLC said, we headed for Parachilna in the Flinders Ranges.

We went for an easy drive through Glass Gorge after setting up camp.






The following Morning we headed to Angorichina for the 10km hike into and out of the Gorge to Blinman Pools, very nice walk!














We went on the Blinman Mine tour in the afternoon before catching up with Heath74 and heading to the Prairie Hotel for tea, Feral Mixed Grill for me , didn't take any pictures though.

On the Sunday we headed for Mount Crawford Gorge, where we went for a much shorter walk into the Gorge to view the Aboriginal art and then had lunch before continuing on to Waukeringa which is North of Yunta.






We had a few attempts at getting some calendar shots with animals, Emu's in this one, heading into the Gorge.




Then the art work.

We camped at Waukeringa Ruins on the Sunday night, which is the remains of the old hotel that serviced the abandoned gold mine on the hill behind it.


















I had planned to come home through Dangalli conservation park, but rain put an end to those plans and it was boring bitumen all the way from Yunta to home

Spent a couple of days on the beach. Jumped on at Tim's Thicket and off at Myalup.

Not a bad way to christen the big girl. Had a little play yesterday at Bell's but no pics there unfortunately as the organic handbrake was a little um, "sea sick".

Wow, I was at Capel over Easter aswell. Perfect conditions.

Caught about 6 Herring and a Flathead for about 3 hours worth of fishing.
