Hi Guys,
I have a 2004 Prado Grande which I have owned for several years and love it however towing my lightweight European caravan
(1800KG) is a problem. On a trip after several hours you find the mattress on the bed which is at the rear of the van moving forward a couple of feet. Wardrobes at either side of the bed the hanging clothes end up on the floor of the robe - if you hang cloths with the hanger hooks facing forward they will stay there. Screws, curtain fittings and light covers you find on the floor. The inbuilt heater even used to come out of its space until located more securely. Experts tell me the Grande rear suspension being airbag and not springs is the problem. Because of the punishment the van is taking the ride in the Prado is on the slightly rough category. Any advice most welcome and appreciated.
