If your local dealer has moved to their new pricing strategy then it will be RRP plus about 2K non negotiable. Cheaper on average but no haggling, just a fixed price on the road. I think the GXL is now $63 drive away, no deals, no dearer, just the same price to everyone.-=2014 GXL D4D Auto Graphite, Firestone Airbags, ARB/Optima D34 Dual Battery, ARB UVP, TJM Airtech Snorkel=-

I was not aware that a new one is coming out so I am now stumped whether to wait for a run out deal or buy the new one.
I usually try to avoid buying new models and motors, I prefer a tried and tested car at a lower price so will probably do that.Last edited by ozimacca; 27-05-2015, 03:15 PM.

I hear that the new Hilux will have 3.5T towing capacity. Not sure what the GCM and GVM is going to be but hope that it is better than the PX Ranger's supposedly 3.5T towing capacity where you can only tow 3.5T if there is nothing in or on the ute.

Unless these Utes turn into 4T trucks they'll always contain a compromise.-=2014 GXL D4D Auto Graphite, Firestone Airbags, ARB/Optima D34 Dual Battery, ARB UVP, TJM Airtech Snorkel=-

I think a lot of people don't quite comprehend just how much weight 3.5T is either. Any camper van's/trailer that are sitting at that sort of weight really need to be hooked up to a light truck. Not a ute or even a Prado...1996 3.4L GXL Manual in Crystal Pearl - SOLD

The Corolado can tow 3t or 3.5t while my 150 is allowed only 2.5t. I know which I prefer to tow with and 3t behind the dual cab is just plain scary. My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

While on the topic of Hilux - looks like Toyota is loading up the last of the old one as we speak https://youtu.be/YLZNwxFtNhk-=2014 GXL D4D Auto Graphite, Firestone Airbags, ARB/Optima D34 Dual Battery, ARB UVP, TJM Airtech Snorkel=-

Wish I had fleet discount to help with my purchase.
