Ok, so I kinda stole the JB catch phrase, but, I'm sure they won't mind.

As I have a new car on the way, I thought, well, I have to get down to ARB to get some toys for the beast.

Anyhoo, I popped on to their website and they have a catalogue request form, filled it out and 2 days later, a massive envelope with a wad of catalogues!

What amazing customer service!

ARB, you've done it again, helpful staff on the phone and catalogues within a couple of days, what more could a guy want!

Wait until you need to wait 4 weeks for them to make and then colour code your front bar.

Time I have, If I can wait a couple of months for a car then I think I'll be right waiting a few for a front bar.

A lot of this I will pre-order now, so that the waiting time will be minimal

Have credit card, will pay deposit!

The waiting time is one of the reasons my brother just signed up for a new Patrol ST-L, and hes getting it kitted with ARB Bar, Roofrack & snorkel. He only has to wait 1mth.

Man oh Man, spare time is expensive!

Went down to ARB in Thomastown this afternoon, and in the space of an hour had spent close on $9k ops:

So.... what does $9k get you at ARB?

- Deluxe Bull Bar (Colour Coded)
- IPF Fog Light Kit
- Dual Battery Setup
- IPF 900XS Driving Lights
- Boot Drawer System & 1/2 Height Cargo Barrier
- A Change of Springs & Shockers
- Safari Snorkel

Man, this hobby *cough* work vehicle *cough* is costing me shitloads and I haven't even taken delivery of the bloody thing!

Oh well, at least it will all be fitted when I pick up the car

Pays to put it all in the lease up front. Only problem is when it hits LCT it starts to hurt as you are paying tax on your goodies.

Won't be putting all my goodies in my lease, doesn't work out beneficial for me to do it that way.

You don't have to pay LCT on those items, remember, LCT is only payable on the actual vehicle cost, so, when you structure your lease all you do is add in these extras as "Supplementary Items" and you get it on your lease, but doesn't go towards LCT.

The toys I pay for, I can't really write them off through the company. The accountant will crack the shits a little too much if I try that one I think!

LCT is payable on the car and all the goodies you get with the car at the time you pick it all up. I've been thrashing the numbers for some months, including the accountant and dealer and fleet company. All are saying the same thing. Anything above $57123 attracts LCT.

Yes, but the difference is I am not getting the accessories from the dealer.

Ie. 1 invoice for Car, 1 invoice for Goodies.

Therefore, LCT is only applicable on the Car, not the goodies.

Already had this conversation today with both the dealership, accountant and finance company
