Curious to know if anyone has bought eBay replacement plugs to hold the strip in front of the motor?

    I think it's 8mm but not sure.

I havent used these but seem cheap enough:

    7mm: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/5-Toyota-...item3f29d79df5

    8mm: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10-x8mm-N...item419a64a5ea

There are cheaper available but don't look like OEM clips.

Are these from the radiator support cover?
Always just picked them up from Toyota parts, but at a premium as it seems.
I also would be interested for an alternate (cheaper) supply.
      Cheers

I went down to my local crash repairer and asked them what they had, they got a handful of replacement plugs, not genuine but very good and said take them, no charge. Makes Ebay look expensive

        Cheers Andrew

I saw these too. I suspect they will do the job but not 100% they are 8mm. Might drive to Loxton and grab a handful from an unwilling provider to ensure the measurements are correct.

Given they break frequently non genuine is the go. Surely someone has bought online before?

I don't think my supplier wants to supply the entire PP community free of charge, they only supply me with free stuff because I am so good looking Not!

Stop bragging about your 8 millimeters and I wouldn't recommend eBay for hair plugs ...... who knows where they've been

OK gents. Thanks for the help (yes, some of the above shite was helpful. I ended up getting 2 sets (40) of these which at least look like the real thing. Somehow I don't think the $3 will break me if they are not the right ones......

Pack of 10, for $2.50, delivered from this eBay seller: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281362932252

                      Does the job just fine.

Fits just about all Toyota vehicles - I tried it on a 200 Series radiator cowl, and the underside of an Aurion's plastic bash plate. A perfect fit in both cases.

Less than $4 for 40 is a bloody good deal AND they look like the originals.
