Van A/C queery

Hi All,
the A/C in the van (Heron command) is working OK but we noticed that under the sink it's RED hot got it booked in for an inspection on Tuesday and he reckons thats normal but it was so hot under there it FUSED a packet of cornflakes together !!! the van's not been used for about 5 years any one got a clue ? thanks in advance......................
BTW the vans a 02 Jayco freedom

What is under the sink? The fuse box? (I don't own a Jayco)

Check the wiring for gnawing by a rat or a mouse. Corrosion may have occurred in the wiring somewhere.

That sort of heat is a fire about to happen.

Hi Yowie, no the only thing that might be relevant under the sink is the air duct which I've checked for blockage and theres nothing visible ?
