Hi guys, long time follower but just recently joined.
I'm having major dramas with my kzn165r hilux powered by the mighty 1kzd-te, (not a Prado I know, sorry but you guys have the most info I've been able to find so far).
So, I went fishing on Tuesday night, all sweet until I stop at one of our destinations and notice the car had a very rough idle, it was sweet at the traffic lights 10 mins ago so I was a bit confused, look in the rear vision mirror to see tonnes of white smoke from the exhaust. Immediately stop the motor and scratch my head.. couldn't think of anything on the side of the road so drove home carefully.
I done a minor service on previous Saturday- oil change and filters,
Apon inspection today noticed the oil was about 4mm high on the dipstick so I dropped 2 liters and topped up to the right level,
Today I pull off the cross over pipe and see that it and the turbo have a fair amount of oil in them.. see pic attached, anyway I had been flicking through the posts here and doing what I can to fix the issue,
So I've cleaned the turbo out cross over and throttle body and inlet manifold, remove the breather and see its dripping oil.. hmmm
Long stroy short everything I've done hasn't helped one bit!! So I've re routed the breather outlet to under the car as it just pumps the turbo full of white smoke and oil.
Hoping someone here can give me some
