Yeah I've had one a couple of years, though not the wifi version. Works fine and even will communicate with M-OBD (early 120's 1KZ's and 4 speed auto 1GR's) with the Torque android app.

Some owners of 05 1KZ are having trouble getting the OBD adapter and Torque Pro. Can you confirm it is working on your 04 1KZ?

Yeah it only works with the paid version of Torque and the config string.
