I test drove a Fortuner (Crusade) and whilst it was OK to drive it was much smaller than the Prado inside and of a lower quality in general. Seemed overpriced compared to the Prado GXL. Also drove (several times) the Ford Everest, Mits Pajero Sport and a few others. Overall I thought the Prado was still best as a long term private car and have ordered Prado GXL 2.8.
