Black Window Water Tank

Hi all,

As mentioned in another thread I am new to 4x4 and slowly building my rig on a budget....2010 150 GXL. This forum has been invaluable with ideas and learnings.

I have purchased a brand new never used second hand Black widow 57 L water tank. The seller says all fittings were included. However I am not sure how to connect the pipe to the actual pump. No room to bend the water pipe to connect to the pump. There seems to some elbows missing.

BW are no more so I cannot call them, appreciate advice from those that use or have used these tanks before.

Hi, that is the same layout I have. My 40 l Engle and dropside slide was a pain in the $^@ to install as I have the dreaded 3rd row of sests. when the budget allows it I will get a decent set of drawers and remove the 3rd row.

really appreciate a picture when U get a chance.

black widow water tank

Hi, my pump configuration is different. You must the mark 2 version. I will upload pic. looks my solution is a visit to Bunning.

A couple of barbed elbows from Bunnings and the problem is solved....only concern so many joins opens risk of leaks
