Prices to Paint ARB Deluxe Bull Bar?

Hi guys, I'm about to buy a second hand ARB Deluxe Bar and it's faded a little so thinking to have it painted Silver to match the car. As a rough idea have any of you had this done? I know ARB charge about 200 on a new bar. Would $300 be a safe bet?

Trying to work out costs before I put the cash down because after this all might be easier to just buy new.

I paid $400 for mine. Was a very good job. Could prob have got it cheaper but the results were worth the money.

Cheers Piggy. I ended up buying it. Now to get it painted, or powder-coated. Apparently some powder-coaters do paint matching very close to the car.

If you get it painted keep in mind they'll typically paint from the colour code rather than the paint on the vehicle. If your Prado has faded then they might not match, ask the painter how he plans to colour match it.

Rang some powder coaters this morning. $180 to re coat it over the top in Silver. The bar is in good nick so might go down that path. He said they will just match it best they can to the colour of the car. So I presume it wont be matched from a Colour Code, more eye in the sun.

Colour Coding

ARB in Nundah charged me $250 to colourcode a secondhand Deluxe bar I bought off Gumtree.

Id be wary of someone saying they can paint match powder coat?
Powder coat comes in set colours, I've also not seen an "Over the top" coat. As most powder coats go onto bare metal. They usually dip the item to clean it off first.
