New Pradopoint GTG website

Hi All,

I have put together a new GTG website that if you would not mind checking it out for me and letting me know any problems that you encounter including what browser and OS you are running I would appreciate it. This is probably not its final look as I only slapped it together this afternoon and I have been having troubles with a couple of hosting sites that I have tried in order to get this test site up.

Eventually it will be rehosted onto a paid website in Australia which will make it faster.

Speed OK (but I'm only on 36Mbs wireless)

Thanks Mick,

For anyone that has not found out, you can click on the Pradopoint logo at the top in the photo banner and it will open the forum in the main screen frame.

Makes it handy to check out the member vids etc and there will be more to come with people asking for other inclusions.

EDIT: After looking at the new look website I think I am going to split the member videos off into their respective states and territories, so there will be in the Contents title a heading of Member Videos and then under that will be links for each state and territory. That way if you only want to look at a certain area then you can just go straight to them.

Made some changes to the presentation of the contents menu and split off the individual state and territory videos so they are now on their own pages. Also added a goofball video page for a bit of fun.

So now all I need is some videos from SA, Vic, NT ( ops: ), ACT and Tassie. Yikes Tassie, I plumb forgot about Tassie. Better put that one in there I reckon. :lol:

One thing I noticed was that on the tabs/links on the left hand side of the page, after I clicked a link the graphics on the button went a bit glitchy.

Try it again Pomp, I have been wiping them and redoing them for the last few hours so you may have fallen foul of one of the times I had deleted them and reloaded them.

Not sure what happened but they seemed to be in some kind of static mode on the host site. Hmmm, well it is only a free tesing site for it so I will not worry too much. I just checked it again and it is working once more.

i must say that the last goofball video is a real shocker, I wonder if the guy driving it got hurt at all? Certainly one way to trash a 4by. :shock:

Is anyone else having troubles seeing the selection buttons down the left hand side? I have had MickL tell me that he cannot see the buttons on his PC.

The buttons look like they are running a Java Applet.

I have one machine that sees them fine ... and the other, that has a glitch running the Java virtual machine, that only has the little crosses and the buttons don't show up.

It appears that the buttons exist and work fine on the host .... but issues relating to whether they are visible or not appear to be related to the local machine and its Java environment.

If anyone else if having problems they may wish to update their Java runtime environment ........ available Here

Note: ... this Java runtime environment is also necessary for the Monday night Pradopoint chat sessions ..... so you get to kill two birds with one stone. :lol: :lol: :lol:
