New Pradopoint GTG website

The buttons look like they are running a Java Applet.

I have one machine that sees them fine ... and the other, that has a glitch running the Java virtual machine, that only has the little crosses and the buttons don't show up.

It appears that the buttons exist and work fine on the host .... but issues relating to whether they are visible or not appear to be related to the local machine and its Java environment.

If anyone else if having problems they may wish to update their Java runtime environment ........ available Here

Note: ... this Java runtime environment is also necessary for the Monday night Pradopoint chat sessions ..... so you get to kill two birds with one stone. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ahh so java was on there.
Thought it was spam or something but the little java coffee cup pop up came up in the task bar.
Might need an upgrade for this PC.

The site looks great Mav.
I wonder if BP or similar could sponsor this event, That would be handy.

Hmmm, bugga!

I checked it on Firefox and IE but that is all I have available. It is either a safari thing or a MacOS thing.

Anyone else with a Mac that can double check it?

I have also discovered the limitations of the free hosting service that the website is on, they are a pretty amaturish hoster with no level of backup or clustering let alone raid levels. Which is why the website goes out of action so often.

Anyway all will be fixed shortly as I was only hosting it there to test it, it will soon be moved back to an Aussie hosting service.

Added some more Pradopoint vids and also added a 4X4 Driving Techniques video page.

I have to say that I really really like the music used on the WA PPers vids thats my kind of music. :wink:

That is odd Matt, what OS are you running and what browser? I know that there was someone with a Mac using Safari that could not access it either.

I know it works with IE and Firefox with Windows XP.

Matt,

You may have to enable the Java add on.. ( tools...manage add ons...enable or disable.. Look for the Java console extension ans enable it)

Yep ... Tools ... Internet Options .... Advanced ..... scroll down to Java .... put the tick in the box

... and if you're still having Java issues .... go to this site and run the Java test .........

http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml

It will tell you what version you are running .... and if it is not working properly there are also several settings you can change, on your computer, to get all the kiddies to play nicely together.
