New Pradopoint GTG website

Well I have been kind of busy the last few days with family issues but I managed to install a new Photo Album page for the GTG website. Seems to be operating reasonably well.

Crammy I hope you don't mind but I used your engine mp3 for the intro page which has Muzzas handy work on it for the main graphic.

The gallery requires registration so if you wish to use it then register and I will check the requests usually in the evenings of each day. Once registered you get your own album to administer and everyone has viewing and rating permissions on the photos.

Oh and I have now placed the website on an australian hosting service so no advertising unless it is sanctioned by the GTG organisers. You will need the latest Java and pop up blocker turned off to use the navigation buttons.

Have a play and see what you think then let me know if you think of something that could be improved or added. Just remember I am not a graphic artist or a software programmer so there will be definite limitations to what I can achieve other than what is there. :wink:

The new url is www.pradopointgtg.com , this is in no way a substitute for the forum website and I am not running any forum software on the GTG website all Pradopoint discussion remains on Pradopoint.

To the Profile Page or to the photo gallery?

Profile page requres you to have your photo hosted on a host like www.villagephotos.com or www.photobucket.com etc. Then you can simply add the URL of the public image on your hosting service to the URL window of the Profile page to get the photo on there. Plus only the attendees have the password to post up a profile as it is really for the attendees to see who they are going to meet.

The photo gallery requires you to sign up and then on signing I will check the persons validity to Pradopoint, if satisfied that they are a member then I will activate the account and you get your own photo album to upload to and administer. Everyone has viewing rights to all albums but only an admin or yourself kind administer your album.

Modzilla was useless on the PPGTG page, so I tried IE and it's fine now.

Just a tip if ya get caught out with tryin to view it..

Damn it I knew those Frontpage extension routines would be a problem. UNfortunately the web host does not support FPE so I am going to have to try and rewrite the navigation in CSS to get it to work properly in firefox.

Another project on the to do list.

Thanks mate, glad you like it. I need videos from SA, NT, ACT, Vic, and TAS to add to it. :lol:

I am going to take the video camera with me on Sunday and do a few for the NT page.
