Hello all
I would like to share with you the extent that Toyota looks after their customers. In November 2008, I purchased my 1998 KZJ90 Shorty from a guy who imported it from New Zealand in 2006 . He purchased it through the Toyota Dealership in NZ under the "Signature Class" (Toyota NZ imports second hand cars from Japan and on sells them - see Toyota.co.nz). In June 2009, I came across a Recall Notice on the web issued by Toyota Japan in May 2006 about a potential rear drive shaft issues and my vehicle was included in the VIN range. I contacted Toyota Australia to discuss what could be done and after a bit of "to and fro" between NZ, Australia and my local dealer, authorisation was given by Toyota Japan to have my rear drive shafts replaced under the recall. That is what I call service and why I will continue to buy Toyotas.
Just a good news story for us Prado owners.
