    Re: fuel cards

We lease and run Shell & BP cards only because the majority of service stations are one or the other up here.

          Re: fuel cards

I salary sacrifice and have Shellcard, Caltex Starcard and BP Card, although the Prado seems to like Caltex Vortex diesel the best so I try and use that exclusively........

            Gday
I also run a small company, and use the motorpass card.
This is accepted at nearly all outlets ( 99.9 ) around oz.
The fees are reasonable, and you can define when you set up the card, if it is just for fuel or to include other purchases.
            cheers

              Re: fuel cards

I have a novated lease with Caltex and Shell cards. Previous vehicle opnly had Caltex and that was a bit limiting, especially across the Nullabore. The 2 cards seem a good combination

Our place uses Mobil and Caltex.

Mobil cards give us a much better discount on Diesel.

                  Re: fuel cards

I get BP and Caltex with my lease. Never really use BP as it is always the most expensive of the two. I get a 3.4c pl discount at Caltex.

However with the 180l diesel tank, I can usually wait until I get a 14 cpl discount @ Woolworths\Caltex and I just claim it back from SGFleet.

When I had my business I used Motorpass with was great, but some servos (mainly Caltex) dont take them.

I had a Shell card but they are geared up for big buiness rather than small.

Ah and I used to have a FleetCard, but nobody outside the big towns seems to accept them.

If I had a business I'd just run a seperate credit card and buy using the fuel vouchers. There is no real advantage for small operators with a fuel card system.

                    Re: fuel cards

Motorpass is the one for us, although some fuel outlets charge a fee, but not many,
Just we find that were not limited by the brand of outlet, and a previously stated accepted at mot places.
