Front park assist not working on steel roobar

Hi guys
New to the forums, need some help with front park assist, I've just had a T13 TJM bullbar installed on my 2016 GXL Prado. TJM have tried to get the front parking sensors working but to no avail. TJM contacted a local dealer (Adelaide) and apparently the spare parts guy said even bother? TJM are now saying the front parking sensors are only compatible with VX & Kakadu models. Has anyone had any luck with GXL front park assist? This is my wife's car and the front park assist is very useful in tight inner city parking. Cheers!

If the bullbar has front park assist holes already, shave off the powder coating / paint inside the hole and reinserting the parking sensors.

Were they working before TJM installed the Bar? If so, they have a onus to return it to the working condition. If they now change and say that they wont work unless the models you state, they have sold you a product that's not fit for purpose. Consumer affairs can guide you further, or you can ask them to fix the issue or pacify you in compensation, A free Bar perhaps?
